SINGLE MARRIED MOTHERS

The first time I was called 'a single married mother', I was like what is that??????

I thought about the title and cried after carefully analyzing the depth of that name. 

A single married mother is a woman who is married and living with her husband but can as well be classified as a single mother because she does everything on her own and receives no assistance from her husband.  By saying everything, I mean financial, emotional, spiritual, mental, physical, sexual, and any other thing you can classify.

Marriage is supposed to be a supportive partnership between two people that requires both parties to assist and support each other in achieving a common goal.  I can't wrap my head around how one partner feels happy seeing his other half going through so much pain and struggle in order to meet up with each day's needs. 

How do you watch a woman age and be overwhelmed trying to make a home and you are looking like you just dropped out of a GQ Magazine?

True love always seeks the interest and best of others at every point in time.

My heart genuinely goes out to every woman who fits into the "single married mother" title.  It's not your fault and stop beating yourself up about it.  

I congratulate your strength and pray you find the healing and support that you need.
